Guests highly rate the great location and frequently praise the family-friendly amenities.
DEReally special place right at the beach. Quiet area, comfortable rooms with outside showers and toilet and you see the beach when you look out of your window. The owner Ibo is the nicest person, he organised everything for us and even cooked dinner, we had much fun together. He also organised a cheap snorkelling trip to the secret gilis which was wonderful. If you're looking for a beautiful place to enjoy nature away from many other tourists, this is the best place to go to. Highly recommended!
DENot a lot. The sheets were clean. The breakfast was ok, didn't look like the pictures either but was alright. The location next to the beach is nice but there's a lot of rubbish and plastic around and I never saw people swimming there.
It's nothing like the pictures and the reviews!!!!!! For a hostel I would say cleanliness is ok. The toilet paper was always empty, there was no soap and the so called "romantic outdoorsy bathroom" was in a very poor condition. The owner is not helpful at all, he's trying to sell you literally EVERYTHING (even water; water was free in all other hostels in Indonesia where I stayed at) for an unreasonable price (compared to the local prices). He made me super uncomfortable. There were multiple situations were I felt unsafe. Especially as a female solo-traveller I would NOT recommend this place because of that. There is NO airport shuttle even though it was one of my musts and it says on their website that they have one. The place is located in f***ng nowhere so it was super "expensive" to get a taxi (and first of to find someone who is willing to take you) There's NO ATM, so you need to bring a lot of cash as well because the owner wouldn't even take you to an atm. You need to rent a scooter for one day (not even a special offer) if you want I get money lol. It happened to a girl I met there. She had the same experience I had and she left after a day... After a day I realised also that I don't want to stay there any longer, so I asked the owner if I could change my travel dates and check out earlier than planned. He lied to my face and said yes but he declined my booking request. So I never got my money back. I would NOT recommend to stay there.
GBNext to the beach
Unfortunately, the property being next to the beach was the only plus for me. I found the man running the hostel to be too money grabbing. From the very beginning he was asking too much about trips etc. Everything was centred around money. I had planned to do camping on one of the islands and agreed to do a snorkelling trip with him and to be dropped off at the island we were visiting on the trip rather than taking the boat back. The owner offered a tent for me to rent. At the time I thought this was a nice gesture so took him up on this. He told me ‘if you lose it you have to pay for it’. A bit of a rude and weird thing to say as obviously this would be the case. Well, when the tent was assembled I found out that it was broken and didn’t close at all. I was sleeping on a beach and it is was very windy and cold at night. Also I’m a solo female traveller and basics like a tent that closes with privacy is important for me. So basically he rented me a faulty tent and didn’t tell me! On top of this, I asked one of the staff on the boat trip if I could keep the mask to do some snorkelling on the island. He said this was fine but then a few minutes later the hostel owner called him and I was quite rudely asked to return the mask. So I did. Then no later than 45 minutes later the hostel owner TURNS UP ON THE ISLAND! So he could have let me use the mask for even a little longer, but didn’t. I would have been willing to pay. Unfortunately, these things to me made the owner seem untrustworthy. Other guests had said he was coming into the hostel rooms trying to get people to book things too. Please be aware of a few things if you do book here (although I do not recommend that you do) - it is very far from a cash machine! So bring cash with you. If not it is about a 25 minute drive on the scooter. I needed to draw cash out as my previous hostel was in a village with no cash machine. The owner of the hostel said I could rent a scooter for 80,000rp to go to the cash machine.
BENice, friendly owner. Right next to the beach. He can arrange tours for you.
Difficult to find. (At least for me. 😅)

FRLittle paradise. you only have to open the door of your room to be on the beach. Ibo is very nice, having had an accident, he took the time to drive me to the pharmacy and was worried about my condition. Great place to be quiet, between sunrise and sunset
FRthe place is just on the beach which is amazing, beautiful shower, nice food
AT
NLIt’s located in a relax area still ruled by the locals! Especially after the Covid struck, of the hotels & bars in this area a fair bit are closed due the minimum tourism. We had to pleasure to experience the area and meet some of the locals. The host, Ibo and his team made our stay amazing, thanks to their hospitality, ensuring we eat amazing local food and even watched a football game with the locals in the town nearby. Which is an experience on it’s own! Ps. the snorkeling & scuba-diving in this area is suppose to be amazing as the coral reef is stunning!
FRAmazing mattress, so comfy! And the bathroom is something you have to try at least once in your life, we loved it! They even grilled a whole fish for us the last night, yummy!!!
