MONALISA HOSTEL

Mona Lisa felt like a home away from home. I have been to Kashi multiple times but stay wise enjoyed this one the most. The location is also perfect. I was traveling solo this time & with Aman & Sunny (care takers), I instantly felt a sense of trust & being taken care of. Its very friendly on the pocket also.

I had a great experience staying at this hostel in Varanasi. It is located very close to Dashashwamedh Ghat, and the Ganga Aarti takes place just about 100 meters away, which makes it extremely convenient for visitors. Most of the famous cafés are nearby, and the Vishwanath Temple is also within walking distance. In fact, almost all important places are easily reachable on foot. The view of the Ganga from the rooftop is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The hostel itself was very clean and well-maintained, and the staff behavior was very friendly and supportive. I would always recommend this place to anyone visiting Varanasi — you should definitely stay here at least once.

Old building renewed in the heart of the town, facilities very clean (nobody use shoes and they clean the shared rooms everyday), the guys are super cool and helpful, there is a roof for relaxing during the night and view of the river. It’s close to tea & coffee shop, restaurant and the main avenue.
