Jasper Downtown Hostel

The property was in a good location and offered free on-street parking, which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable, and both check-in and check-out were straightforward and hassle-free. The room was warm and comfortable overall.

There was no lift, so luggage had to be carried upstairs. The shower cubicle was quite small, and the kitchen became very warm and busy during the evenings. The room could also become quite warm, with only limited window opening available for ventilation. The check-in time was quite strict, which reduced flexibility for arrival.

Great shared kitchen space in the basement to socialize with other travellers. Main floor tables/booths also great for people watching and light conversation.

Staff are great. Basement room was very very hot, but still comfortable. Location is fantastic.

L'emplacement proche de la gare . La salle de bain privative.. Personnel accueillant. Un café à côté pour prendre le petit déjeuner. Sinon cuisine commune Bon rapport qualité prix Je recommande.

Chambre spartiate. Pas d'ascenseur. C'est une auberge de jeunesse et la prestation est en rapport avec le prix.

Good welcoming from 3 out the 4 staff members working there at reception. Free parking around 100m from there. Numerous washrooms outside of the rooms. GREAT private rooms, BAD shared rooms. Well-sized kitchen.

Very small showers making it largely uncomfortable to change, noisy doors, noisy curtains, absolutely uncomfortable beds, absolutely NO community event nor what'sapp group. Glauque main room (small and silent). First guy that welcomed me (youngest) clearly didn't want to work here, with laconic instructions, no tips and no sense of greetings overall.

Great location- walking distance to main street shops/ restaurants, information centre, supermarket, bakery etc. Very well equipped kitchen which can accommodate a lot of people. Relatively clean.

Just be aware that parking on site is extremely limited- you will most likely have to park a street away.
