The staff is very arrogant

The vibe is really good. It’s peaceful and homely with excellent location. It has a cute lil garden with clean and beautiful rooms. The staff is very considerate and helpful.

The manager was super friendly and helpful. Also, the people staying in the hostel were nice, open, and chatty. Was allowed to chill in the common area as long as needed after checkout, use the shared facilities etc.

The place has room for improvement. I stayed in a private double room, which is located in a kind of shed in the garden. Unfortunately, there are gaps between the walls and the roof, so the room was full of mosquitoes and other bugs. I reported this to management, and they sprayed the room and provided one of those plug-in anti-mosquito devices. It helped, but I still got some bites the next morning. A good improvement would be to install a mosquito net between the sleeping area and the hallway. One of the light switches is located outside the room, which took me quite a while to figure out. Also, the door is quite difficult to open and close. In other hostels, I’ve usually received a towel with a private room, but that wasn’t the case here. The showerhead could also use descaling. After checkout, I asked if I could leave my luggage. They said yes, but told me to leave it in a corner next to the lobby counter, openly accessible to everyone, which didn’t feel very secure. Overall, the stay was okay, but there are several areas that could be improved.

Increase the number of bathrooms/ Toilets. Or separate the bathroom. Difficult to get ready on time.
