La Casa Piola

The location is good, the terrace is nice. And the Spanish speaking guy at the reception was very helpful - in comparison to most of the other staff..

When I arrived a girl with curly hair at the reception told me they just had an intense cleaning in this room and because of the bad smell they would offer me free laundry or a towel. Other possibility was just a sofa because there was no other bed anymore (and I had reserved in advance!!) .. When I asked if this cleaning was because of bed bugs, she told me no. So I believed her - apparently she really didn't know, so this would go back to bad communication from the boss - and checked-in. Later in the night when I realised this smell is going to stay that bad that I will get a headache and I'm not sure how healthy this will be for me, we figured out with another girl in the room that this must has to do with bed bugs. We later even got this information confirmed. So they had 2 days ago (!!!) a big bed bugs problem in there, just cleaned it with some insecticide (?) - the question is if the eggs are still alive - and they would still take reservations?!!! That's absolutely unbelievable! So in the night in Valparaiso it wasn't easy at all to just find another hostel, the good prices from the morning had vanished and we didn't want to go that far with our luggage. So we had to take a hostel nearby, which was more expensive. If I would have been told this earlier, I would have had all the options as it was still in the afternoon, when I arrived. We tried to at least get some compensation, but the boss wouldn't even give us more than 5€ (which is a bad joke regarding the inconvenience we got from all this), pay us an Uber or at least the breakfast they offered. Later in the night some other two guests from this hostel arrived at our new place, as hostel Piola also had taken their reservations without any place for them to stay.

Nice Hostel at the heard of Valpraiso. Great Location and very central. I had a very nice stay and with that a great Experience of valpraiso too.

Los baños son muy amplios, estilosos y limpios, igual que las habitaciones todo se ve en muy buen estado, es fácil llegar desde el terminal, seguiré volviendo gracias!

L’hostel est agréable, les chambres sont confortables et le petit + la grande terrasse.

Buena ubicación, cómodas instalaciones.

Es bastante sencilla.

La casa es hermosa, la cocina super completa, la terraza cómoda y la habitación espaciosa y de techos altos, muy lindo. Los colores con fondo blanco le da modernidad y calidez. La ubicación es muy buena. A 20 minutos d cerro alegre y unos 10 de cerro concepción. Valpa es bien lindo. Un día d bastante caminada es suficiente. El Uber desde la terminal es muy barato. Desayuno super!

Los voluntarios opinan demasiado d su vida interna en el hostel. Tato la argentina fue super buena gente y muy buena coordinación con ella. La cama se mueve un poco por las ruedas q tiene, eso es incomodo. "Gucci is annoying"

La terraza, limpieza y el personal.

Venía incluido desayuno, consulte al llegar, me dijeron que lo verían y nunca llegó el desayuno ni la respuesta :(

Me gustó mucho la casa en general, todo amplio y limpio, la terraza es cómoda y un buen punto de encuentro con los otros huéspedes. El desayuno muy rico también!
