Très bien placé, personnel accueillant.

Communication pour l’arrivée un peu difficile. La chambre était très humide. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans l’auberge.

Location is good for walking to the bars and restaurants on the main strip/harbour. Good street parking around but the one way system on this side of town is bit of a faff. Quiet chilled vibe in the hostel, big range of ages (24 to 70). Most doing spanish language school or windsurf courses.

(For reference, I’ve worked and volunteered at 3 hostels in the last 4yrs - in Indonesia, Australia and the UK) The building is spanish indoor/outdoor living style - ie windows but with no glass. In summer when it’s 30 degrees, this is fine but when it is windy, cold and raining, the rain comes inside. For my stay in December, it was 14 degrees, 25mph wind and rain - I was sat in the hostel and cooking in joggers and a winter coat, the corridor was flooded. It felt like english camping, not a relaxing hostel. If you’re a light sleeper, maybe not the place for you as no doors have handles so they all have to be slammed. You get 1 pillow which is paper thin and terrible. You have to PAY TO RENT AN EXTRA PILLOW the greedy b*st*rds. Extra 10€ for a locker too. The maximum temperature of the showers is “lukewarm”. In summer probably not an issue, in winter let’s say I didn’t hang around…! The kitchenettes are very very minimally equipped. Blunt bent knives, burnt pans, 1 gross chopping board. It’s a creative challenge to cook anything beyond pasta. Fridge and freezer space is very generous though. Paella night was social but 25€ per person is frankly extortionate. She made 1 pan for the ~12 people (rice and about 2 prawns and a mussel per person) plus she brought her friend who ate etc… a quick easy 300€ profit in her pocket!!? If I had known this before I would not have signed up, spent the same amount in a proper restaurant instead and had a better one. The woman was then quite assertive collecting cash afterwards - I had to walk to 2 different ATMs at 10pm as the one she sent me to nearby was broken. The logistics of the night were not communicated in advance, purely a blank sign up sheet with the title “paella”. Debora was lovely, this older woman not so ‘approachable’.

Lo único bueno es la ubicación.

No nos gustó nada. Nos dejamos engañar por la buena nota de Booking pero es que no merece ni un aprobado. Viajo mucho y he estado en muchos lugares y os prometo que este es una basura. La limpieza no existía y los baños compartidos daban asco. Llenos de pelos púbicos y mal olor. La gente cocina al lado de las habitaciones. Hablan a todas horas y es imposible dormir sin tapones. La habitación era muy muy simple y vieja y las sábanas estaban sucias. Las camas no eran cómodas. La primera noche nos tuvimos que duchar con agua congelada porque se habían roto dos duchas y en el baño que pudimos usar el agua no llegaba caliente..La siguiente noche no pude ni ducharme porque el secador desapareció y no había forma de secarme el pelo después de estar todo el día en la playa. La chica que nos recibió el primer día se despidió al dia siguiente y nunca vimos a nadie sustituyéndola. Nadie se hacía cargo de nada. No desayunamos ni un día allí a pesar de estar el desayuno incluido porque no era agradable. Creo que este tipo de alojamientos son para personas a la que le da igual pasarlo mal y que tengan pocos escrúpulos. Pongo esta reseña porque no quiero que a nadie le pase como a nosotros. He viajado a Fuerteventura más de 10 veces y es la primera vez que doy con un sitio así. Hay sitios mil veces mejores. Además, no fue nada barato. Creo que lo lleva una empresa y esto es abusar de los clientes.

Emplacement genial tout pres du centre! Pas de lit superposé ( quel bonheur! 2 lits simples dans une chambre correcte!)). Personnel tres gentil et présent qui m a accueuillie un dimanche soir à 21h45. Tres bon petit dejeuner. Ambiance sympa.. Excellent rapport qualité prix... je recommande et espère revenir@

Douches parfois bouchees par le sable des surfers... mais vite ddbouchées!
