Property Notes

All guests need to be members of the DJH (German Youth Hostel Association) or Hosteling International. Membership can be purchased at the reception upon arrival. It costs EUR 7 per year for Guests up to the age of 26 and EUR 27.50 for families or guests aged 27 and above. Each year from June onwards, membership will be half price for guests purchasing a DJH membership for the first time. Foreign guests need a Hosteling International Card (EUR 18), if they are not member of a national Hosteling Federation. For single overnight stays a welcome stamp can purchase on arrival, which costs EUR 3.50. Please note that for bookings of 6 guests or more, special terms and additional supplements may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

Kein Aufzug, Koffer passte nicht ins Schließfach, 70er Jahre Stil, Frühstück billig und ungesund ( Zuckersaft, billige Lebensmittel)

good proximity to the central palace, reasonable proximity to public transport. also: nice people, friendly staff and breakfast included. yum yum. also, they let me keep my baggage in their baggage lockers until the end of the day, which was really handy, i would not have wanted to schlepp my heavy load through the City…

gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal. sie helfen gerne auch bei Fragen weiter. Jugendherberge ist stark frequentiert, man lernt immer jemanden kennen.

zum Teil alte Zimmer (Böden, Fußleiste defekt) Bäder nur renoviert, Sanierung würde mal anstehen.

zu wenige (eine einzige) Steckdose in einem 4-Bettzimmer ist einfach nicht mehr zeitgemäß 🙄

"Disaster in Karlsruhe"

Nothing

My room was designed for 4 persons although i booked the whole room But the problem was that i was sharing my bathroom with the other room with 4 beds. It was a disaster and wasnt clean at all. Also about the heating system, it wasnt actually working at all
