Yog Hostel- Best Social Backpacker Hostel in Thamel -Rooftop-Capsule Bunks AC

The hostel was horrible, zero ventilation and sad washroom but the private rooms were fine, comfortable beds and clean washrooms, although I had to climb up and down quite a lot to reach the pvt room since they've designed the hostel that way lol, On a whole I would not suggest to stay here They have an incredible rooftop views, that's their USP. So go to the rooftop and exit after you have fun :)

If i have to give an honest review, it was actually good staying there. Well I was in Kathmandu for traveling so didn't stayed long in hostel but yeah it was good staying there. The thing i liked more about this hostel was it's greenary, well too asthetic walk way, even the dome i was staying was actually pretty good it's rooftop restaurant and bar. It was actually fun spending time there,seeing the view.

The culture, vibe and staff was good.

Room was smelling bad that made stay uncomfortable. Apart from that it was good.

I booked the double deluxe room and it was great. We had a little lounge area and our private toilet which was great. Awesome staff members. All were really nice and the roof top bar is great to enjoy a few drinks and have a nice view over the area

We had an upgrade which meant we got a massive room. We felt at home in yog hostel and the other guests were a good mix of people. We had some issues with the bathroom but the staff sorted it straight away. The receptionists and the cafe staff are really lovely, thanks for a wonderful stay!

The free yoga on the roof was the worst yoga session I’ve ever attended. Very overcrowded. It’s worth going to just for a laugh if you can be bothered to wake up.
