They could explain the shower policy a bit more clearly. Based on the communication we received, it seemed as if we had to shower outside, but in fact, they actually offer the possibility to book a timeslot to take a shower in a shared bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay and especially our host who made the stay that much better with the use of two bikes for the day to explore Shirahama. The room was clean and comfortable and it was nice to have two windows that opened for fresh air. The location is quiet and a short walk to the main beach, groceries and restaurants. The shared bathroom is clean and the hot water in the shared bathroom/shower was the best we have experienced in Japan. Would 100% recommend as an authentic Japanese experience with tatami mats, etc.

It would be good to have a shared sitting area or kitchen space to prepare food but that's a minor issue for a short stay!

The design is super cool and the whole place is cozy and friendly. It’s easy to make friends with your neighbors, but also it is possible to find some quietness.

The price is convenient for Shirahama, but it could be cheaper since it’s a minshuku and it doesn’t offer any meal.

小哥是在日本遇到较为热情的大阪人，其他家酒店的服务前台会很假，冷漠，但是这个小哥很真诚，很热情，还有当地小镇的游玩设施，各种地图挺好的

オーナーさんが親切丁寧で、近隣のお店や温泉等を色々と教えてくださいました。おかげですごく楽しめました。ルールもきちんと説明してくださり過ごしやすかったです。

各階に男女両方のトイレがあるとベストでしたが…。
