Mouja Surf Camp

This was by far the BEST place we stayed in Morocco! Much cleaner and well thought-out than all the others. Good facilities. Wi-Fi included. Decent beds, bins, bathrooms and plenty of toilet paper. Kareem, our host who greeted us on arrival, was welcoming, helpful and friendly. Thanks, Kareem! :-D

The location was ok, but not the most attractive outside. It could be a little loud with dogs barking throughout the night and other guests banging their doors, but that is not the fault of the hotel or its staff! The hotel needs signage - even a simple sign would help guests find the place more easily! There was no sign. There was no soap in the bathroom, either. Empty soap dispensers like other hotels in Morocco!

SURF: Mouja works with Dar Surf for the surfing side of things (both classes and rentals). We did not take any classes, just surf guiding (driving to the spots, some guidance, food and beverages) and rented the equipment. They have a wide range of beginner hard tops, some of which were brand new (6`4 up), as well as soft tops. REMOTE WORK: It is possible, although not too comfortable to work from the terrace: the internet is reliable and fast. STRUCTURE and SERVICES: The structure was cleaned and bleached thoroughly every day. The area is quite peaceful (as is all of Taghazout to be fair). Shoutout to Kareem and Ismail, they took great care of us, always available to support for any request

The seating in the terrace is not the most comfortable, if you have to work a full day or multiple days probably better to look for a different arrangement.

Good location and price

Unfortunately this felt like a ghost hostel, no social interaction and no staff on-site. We had no water for half a day and nobody from the team was available (we called over whatsapp and texted but nothing). It was quite cheap and clean though but I would not come again

Goede kamer met goede ligging, personeel heel vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar

Het gebouw; smaakvol en netjes verzorgd. Ook de locatie was goed; centraal, maar geen last van drukte.

Niet handig dat we ‘s morgens niet konden douchen omdat er geen water was… Ook de beloofde wifi deed het niet.
