Swell Hotel, Pool Bar & Restaurant

I absolutely loved my stay here. The room was perfect – clean, comfortable, and beautifully arranged. The location, surrounded by rice fields and far from the hustle and bustle, was exactly what I was looking for. It’s so peaceful, yet just a short walk to the temple and some stunning beaches only five minutes away. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive — I truly felt cared for throughout my stay. I was genuinely sad to leave! A big thank you to the whole team for making my time here so special. I’ll definitely be back!

The staff, the pool, the food and the location

It’s value for money, but they had a damp problem in the rooms. It smelt of stagnated water.

The stay was okay. The room could use some fixing up, but for a couple of nights, it was fine. The TV worked well. The bathroom was good and had a warm shower. I chose this place mainly because it was a short walk to Tanah Lot. You walk about 30 minutes through rice fields. Part of the path is dirt, so after rain, it gets very muddy and is not the nicest to walk through. Keep this in mind. They have a bar and restaurant, so you can get everything you need there. The prices are a bit higher, but I had a mango curry that was a good size and very tasty.

There is a door to the small balcony at the back. This door does not lock. The balcony is separate and not connected to any other rooms, but it would be safer if it could lock.

Friendly and responsive staff. Clean rooms and common areas. Great location, 5 minute walk to the beach. Thoughtful of them to provide free coffee and water :)

Drinks and food from a the bar prohibitive for a backpacker so very fiew people staying around
