St Clair Hostel

We’ve stayed here a few times. It’s location is perfect for when we go to a show on Vancouver. It’s a short walk from Gastown, the sky train and the sea is as well

It wasn’t as clean as it usually is.

One of the two toilets was out of order and clogged with no one having fixed it for the entire stay.

From cleanliness of the room nad provided facilities like bedsheets to the cleanliness of washrooms, and the availability of various facilities like toiletries, microwave oven, cutlery etc., everything was excellent.

Heater in room was working but was not heating to the intensity expected form what I set it to. I had set it to maximum.

The location was very good and I liked that I had a fan in my room as I noticed that some rooms only had a little desk fan. Although the area wasn't as sketchy the week I stayed compared to other reviews, a code was required to enter the main entrance which made me feel safe.

Check in was receiving the room key and no other information, If I knew there were going to be muffins in the morning then I would have had some! The showers were not clean, I stayed 7 nights and only showered twice. There was a blocked toilet on my floor that remained blocked for a few days.

La chambre était suffisamment grande avec beaucoup de rangement.

Une chambre avec une fenêtre donnant face a un mur à 2 mètres, soit peu de luminosité. Également, durant les nuits pluvieuses, de l’eau coulait depuis l’extérieur, cela a rendu mes nuits un peu désagréables. Puis, le miroir et le rebord du lavabo était sale (éclaboussure et poil apparents), et des douches avec énormément d’humidité, ce qui laisse place aux moucherons.
