Location is ideal if you want to take a Ijen volcano tour. The hostel can book it. The doctor's office is very close — you need certification of fitness. The ferry to Bali is next door. And the TRAIN STOP is next door.

Like many, I got off at the WRONG TRAIN STOP. It was never made clear enough to me which stop is the correct one for Ijen hostel. That information should be sent to everyone who books.

Very kind and helpful staff. Great breakfast after the tour. We were also very happy with the Ijen tour organised by the hostel. I recommend overall!
