Great place for networking

One of the best hostels I visited for sure. The stuff is like your new family after arriving, they will take care of everything. The beds are comfy, lot of people in the dorms tho, hot shower is running and its not a party hostel, so chill, good sleep, cool people, if you wanna party you go party somewhere else. Good pool, places for workout, yoga or meditation... yup, one of the best hostel I visited so far for sure:)

Great social side and staff are great, food also good and plenty of activities

No toilet roll and the dorm setup isn't the best but the price and community aspect more than makes up for it

Uno de los mejores hostels que me he quedado en todo Asia. Realmente hace una diferencia enorme el disfrutar Siargao estando en este hostel u en otro lugar. Ambiente genial, el staff muy amistoso, ideal para solo travellers, y para vivir realmente la experiencia de estar en la isla de Siargao

Die Menschen die zu diesem Hostel gehören, sowohl Staff wie Volunteers wie auch die Gäste schaffen eine so einzigartig gute Community dass Hiraya oft als das beste Hostel der ganzen Insel bezeichnet wird, was ich nur unterschreiben kann. Alle reden miteinander, man lernt ständig neue Leute kennen, sowohl Surfer wie auch Partymacher finden ihren Platz und es gibt ständig Aktivitäten an denen man teilnehmen kann, von gemeinsamen Abendessen zu Bootsparty. Für mich überwiegt der soziale Aspekt eines Hostels die Austattung bei weitem, weshalb ich immer wieder zurückkommen würde (und ich bin nicht die einzige das Hostel hat aus diesem Grund viele Stammgäste:).

Die Strasse zum Hostel steht oft grösstenteils unter Wasser, die Betten haben keine Vorhänge, die Duschen sind lauwarm und es gibt keine Gemeinschaftsküche - wenn man sich jedoch darauf einstellt ist das kein Ding und es ist das auf alle Fälle Wert für die Gemeinschaft, die dieses Hostel bietet.
