Kalunay Hostel - Breakfast included

Amazing hostel, has a lovely chilled vibe and staff were really helpful. Had a great stay here.

Nothing, everything was fantastic

As a solo female traveller Kalunay was perfect - really nice friendly vibe, quiet at night and great location. Double Room is basic but was perfect for what i needed - The hostel was quiet so I had solo use of the shared bathroom. I extended my stay twice so highly recommend this hostel. They are also installing a new extended kitchen for guests which will be great when finished.

It would be very useful to have some basic furniture in the bedroom to put your belongings on or in and to hang and dry clothes. Also a bedside light would be great.

Demasiado calor, un mejor ventilador ayuda.

Beautiful and relaxing hostel in Puerto Viejo. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. The hostel felt very safe too. There are hammocks to relax in and the outdoor kitchen is really well-equipped with everything you need.

Only (very minor) downside is that it's a little further to the beach than other hostels in the area. Having said that, it's also really quiet at night because it isn’t situated right next to the bars and restaurants playing loud music - and it's still only five minutes to the sea.

Súper feliz con mi estadía acá, hasta extendí 2 días más, la locación está bien, se llega super rápido al centro, el desayuno incluido super, los cuartos y baños siempre limpios, la cocina también y el área común es super cómoda. Pero lo que me hizo quedarme definitivamente fue el staff, me trataron excelente desde que llegué Maureen fue una super ayuda, Maureen de limpieza también fue un amor y los voluntarios Seba y Mara me hicieron sentir como en casa, súper recomendado.
