La Heim Hostels

This was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at in India, it's a ride up but so worry it as you're in Old Manali and have one of the best possible views, we'll out of the way of the noise that comes with the tourists. Rooms were really nice, spacious and clean and staff were excellent, even sent a search team out and saved me when I was stuck in the Himalayas, thanks for everything La Heim!

I liked it. The wifi was good. Strong enough to do remote work. The view from the balcony was awesome. Clean and big rooms. Has all the things you need for a comfortable stay. The location of the property is both good and bad depending on how you look at it. Its located in Old Manali in a peaceful locality. So if you are looking for a peaceful place its really good. But its quite far from centre, about 7 kms from Mall road. So getting a cab there will cost around 250 rupees one way. So keep that in mind. Also from the starting point of Old Manali, the club house its a long and uphill road to the property. So without a personal vehicle its challenging to reach there. Also, the last 100 meters to the property is a steep uphill road along with a flight of steep stairs. Its quite challenging and not for everyone. Even with a person vehicle you have to park it at the road below and mandatorily go through that steep 100 meters.

As said, the location can be a good and bad thing at the same time. Also regarding the food, some items were good like Poha, veg thali. But the some non veg items were quite bad.

The location of the property and the view from the place was awesome

It's OK, just average. I'd recommend the dorm more than the private room. The private room had super thin curtains that lightens up the room with sunlight at 5.30am. Very annoying. Advice to owner: please hang black-out curtains. The bathroom door is poor with lots of mold. Not well maintained. The dorms are spacious. Considered the price, the dorm is better than private room. Location is good.

I’m genuinely impressed by this hostel. I’ve rarely experienced such warmth, it almost felt like a home away from home. The room was very clean and surprisingly spacious. The common areas were beautifully designed and really invited you to spend time there. Absolute recommendation! The view alone makes it worth it.

Staff was very cooperative Food was served on time. Staff were very concerned regarding the time since we were all girls. Felt very safe here And the greenery around the property were so good so pinterestery. Overall it was great stay highly recommend. ♥️🥰🍏🍏🍏

I stayed at Laheim for almost 2 months and it was an unforgettable experience. The staff here are the heart of the place Krishna Bhai is one of the most humble and friendly souls you’ll ever meet. He didn’t just manage the hostel he made sure we had the best time, taking on hidden treks and showing secret spots around Manali that most tourists miss. Pavan Bhai and Goli Bhai were equally amazing—always cheerful, helpful, and full of great vibes. The property itself is a gem. Laheim’s location and scenery are unbeatable. Whether it was the cozy atmosphere, the fun group activities, or the feeling of being part of a little family, everything was perfect. If you’re looking for more than just a hostel a place with great people, adventure, and memories Laheim is it. Can’t wait to return! Highly recommended.

I have been to this property a few times in different weather..... its amazing and always serves desired peace with fulfilling hospitality from the host..... Will visit soon

Here at this hostel I found the best view of the mountains I could ever imagine. There are small villages nearby and in the valley there are several waterfalls, one very close and accessible to take a shower under the waterfall if you want. The food at the hostel is very tasty, the hostel is clean, and the shower is also hot. I booked for 5 days, but I stayed for 10. The valley is wonderful, safe and I don't want to leave.
