The Host

I don’t usually write long reviews on Booking.com, but after reading some of the negative comments and then staying here myself, I felt it was necessary to provide a more accurate and detailed perspective. Within its category, this is not “just a hostel” it operates more like a boutique, high-standard accommodation. I think some of the negative reviews here are missing that point entirely. As a solo female traveler who has visited 30+ countries, I actively choose places like this over typical hostels where standards are inconsistent, staff may be disengaged, and overall management is lacking. Here, everything feels organized, intentional, and well maintained. The location is excellent truly city center and within walking distance of everything. You don’t need transport, which is a major advantage. Access is via code, which I personally consider a plus. I’d much rather have secure, keyless entry than worry about losing keys or cards. The property is spotless. Cleanliness is clearly taken seriously. I also want to highlight the responsiveness of the team. At one point I needed assistance and reached out Agne and Cristian replied within five minutes. That level of attention and speed is not something you take for granted, and it reflects very well on how the place is managed. Another detail that truly stood out: I went out during the day and when I returned, housekeeping had cleaned the beds of guests who had checked out and even made my bed as well. This is a level of care you simply don’t expect in a shared dorm setting. On top of that, multiple towels were provided and included in the price, which again goes beyond what most hostels offer. Yes, there are a limited number of bathrooms, but this is the reality of shared accommodation. Even in hostels with more facilities, if the property is full, you will still occasionally wait. That’s not a flaw it’s how shared spaces work. The area is also very quiet.

The location was very convenient, the decor was very classy and comfortable, the room felt spacious and private despite having 10 beds, the host was very polite and helpful and scheduled a cooking class very conveniently in the kitchen at the accommodation. Overall excellent experience.
