"Hostel let down by its short-sighted attitude towards non-smokers and poor maintenance of facilities."

The only positive was the location

Showers were very erratic… either scorching hot or just cold, sometimes no water at all; Kitchen sink faucet broke off; reception staff inviting friends for smoking sessions in kitchen/dining area so non-smokers excluded; complaints about smoking not taken seriously by the staff;
