I LOVED the stunning view from my bed over the lovely colorful square! Because still low season and weekdays...I was lucky to also have total peace & quiet at night! All was absolutely PERFECT for me!!! Dorms and bathroom comfy & very clean (not full occupancy at the moment😜) But I can feel and see the staff is working really hard to keep the whole property nice, clean and tidy without becoming uptight and too strict though...which is a blessing actually! 😉😊😇 Atmosphere is very friendly, pleasant, welcoming and fully relaxed but not chaotic" and messy, fortunately! This hostel in my opinionnhas a very social-fun vibe without being an annoying "party hostel"... which makes it really suitable for all age ranges (I am 60 for example!) and all types of good people, who enjoy company but also a good night sleep!😅 The common kitchen is very well equipped and always very tidy and clean also...so are the common area! 🤩 Thank you soooo much IKARI for having created such a fantastic real travellers meeting place right in the centre of RIGA!!! 🥰🤩

Such a great vibe! Rooms were spacious and secure (with lockers included), and the beds were comfy. Staff were super nice and patient, and check in was great. Good communal facilities. The location was also 11/10, you couldn’t find better if you tried.

The toilets were fine but the showers were hit and miss. There was one in particular that kind of flooded every time I used it.
