UB Guesthouse & Tours - not for locals

Bobby is an absolute legend - she organized an amazing trip for us! Even before coming to UB she kept me up to date with infos about who might join my trip! We enjoyed our trip so much that we wanted to extend mid-way and just a quick phone call was enough to extend by 4 nights for the whole group and come up with the perfect itinerary! Also: make sure to get a Tour Guide/Translator to make the best of the trip, interact more with locals and learn about the country ans culture! We had NK and he was the BEST!! So don’t look anywhere else, UB is the place you would want to do your tours with and stay before and after!

Dorm beds are a little bit shaky, but no big deal! :)

I've traveled solo to many countries, so I completely understand that dorms can be crowded and some noise is unavoidable. However, at this hostel, the noise level was excessive. Guests often gathered in the common area late into the night and talked very loudly. In other dorms I've stayed in, even very budget-friendly ones, people were generally respectful of quiet hours and shared spaces. Here, it felt a bit too relaxed regarding noise. I was also surprised that the receptionist joined these late-night conversations with guests, which made the noise continue even longer. Staff should help maintain a comfortable environment for everyone. I hope the hostel pays more attention to keeping noise levels under control, as basic respect for quiet and shared spaces is something every accommodation should provide.

온수가 잘나오지 않아요 온수나오게 하는 방법도 어렵고 수압이 세지 않습니다 2층침대 있는 2인실 싸고 혼자있을수있어서 예약했는데 최악입니다 거실 욕실 입구문 근처라 항싱 시끄럽습니다 2인실 절대 하지마세요 전에 한국어 할수있는매니져 있었는데 지금은 없습니다 친절한것 같지도 않아요

中心地で立地がかなりよかった。 近くにコンビニもカフェもあった。 部屋は清潔で、快適だった。 朝はカーテンの隙間から朝日が差し込み気持ちよく起床できた。 オーナーが親切で、安心感があった。 スタッフが常に掃除をしていて共用スペースが清潔だった。 Wi-Fiも速く安定していた。

ホットシャワーが1カ所のみで、温度が安定しない。 洗面台のついているトイレが1カ所しかない。

Location is good - about 6-8 mins walk from Sukhbaatar Sq.

- No wifi - No hot water! The shower was VERY cold, and this was in June. Impossible to shower, so I heated water in an electric kettle and used a mug to just wash my body. - toilet has no extractor fan, so the smell goes into the main room - you have to walk through the dorm (with 6 beds) to get to your double room. - zero hostel vibe, because there is no communal area. - no kitchen. The 'kitchen' provided is shown in the photo below.
