BackHome Fez

The staff is very friendly, the hostel is well decorated. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and it was great to have it on the terrace. For the price, it's an excellent deal.

The place is a little run down, and the bathroom was not the most comfortable as the shower stalls are very narrow.

A very good hostel to stay in Fez. Good location in the Medina. Nice staff. Simple but nice breakfast. I definitely recommend this one.

The rooms are next to social areas so it can be noisy when you want to sleep. The room door was hard to close, guests struggled to keep it closed which is annoying for others. Needs fixing.

BackHome Fez is a REAL hostel. It has super chill vibes, the people are really nice and the breakfast was delicious as well. There are a lot of backpackers, its has real travel groove. There are many nice restaurants in a 10min walk radius. And its not super far to the tanneries.

One of the few places in Morocco that felt like a hostel, generally pretty easy to meet up with other travelers and get dinner together. Filtered water a big plus. Great view from the terrace, which had some sheltered spaces as well as indoor lounges on every floor, which was essential when it rained all week

Lumpy beds. Had to walk through the rain to go from the bedroom to the bathroom. There are *two* kitchens but both are exclusively for the use of the staff, and viciously guarded by the employees. The guys who work there were very friendly with all the female guests.

Great people, Abdul is a very kind and caring guy.

The people are very nice and the common rooms and roof terrace were cosy. The staff are super nice and helpful!

It’s needs major renovation, the facilities were extremely old and run down and the bed was the worst I ever had anywhere.

Shower place is a little slippery, and shower head doesn’t work well. Always some local young man waiting for guidance biz. Be aware.
