The Journey Hostel

Very social hostel, but in a relaxing way not a party party way which I loved! The views are stunning and the pool is perfect after a long day hiking! The staff are super friendly and the menu options are extensive with delicious food options. Only a 5 minute bus ride to Tayrona entrance. We loved our stay!

Only thing which could have been improved was the wifi which was down during our stay and only strong by the reception at the bottom of the hill.

Our room was very damp, the floor and walls were constantly wet but staff were more than accommodating when we asked to switch to a new room.

Beautiful location. Nice dinners served with big portions.

Cold showers. The shared room has a floor that moves everytime someone is walking. The bunk beds move as well as people move which can be annoying. The vibe is very young and loud, so if you are looking for something peaceful, it's not the place. I thought prices was a bit too high for what was offered.

Best indoor/outdoor type hostel that lets you experience the natural landscape and the wildlife that inhabits it; fun family style dinners allowing you to meet new people every night; fun pool and games to connect people; access to local destinations and helpful staff to get you there!

Can’t think of anything to dislike about this property.

Amazing location, great staff, especially David, the receptionist. He was kind and gave me amazing recommendations.

The lack of hot water in the showers.
