The Journey Hostel

The location and views from the top are stunning. The pool is very nice. The surrounding nature is wonderful.

The hostel beds are actually not in a proper room but kinda in nature. Because there are no curtains surrounding the bed, that means you are exposed to the elements including the heat and sunshine and artificial lights. Also, the beds are not solid so every time your bunk mate moves a tiny bed, you feel everything. And every time someone walks on the floor in the cabaña, you also feel the vibrations.

En general todo fue espectacular, la comida estaba deliciosa y los precios son perfectos para lo que consumes. La ubicación es excelente y la vista desde la piscina es increible. El staff super simpático

Lo que podría mejorar es la limpieza de las habitaciones y los baños

Hostel itself is beautiful, but when you pay 80€ for an open private room within the jungle environment, you don't expect it to be located right next to super loud speakers and social area (where barely anyone was sitting). After asking twice the music was turned a bit lower at 21.30 and turned off at 23. Room wasn't really clean either and shower cold, if you are looking for a chilled night, don't book the open private rooms

Das Hostel ist mir freundlicherweise entgegengekommen und hat mir eine frühere Abreise ermöglicht

Ich hatte gehofft, in einem Nationalpark etwas Ruhe zu finden, dies sucht man hier jedoch vergeblich. Mein Zimmer war direkt neben dem Pool, wo bis spät abends Musik gespielt wird, auch hört man die ganze Nacht den Lärm von der Strasse und andere Gäste, welche nach Hause kommen oder sich am Pool aufhalten. Die Sauberkeit im Badezimmer lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig - es hatte noch Haare in der Dusche, an der Wand (wo man sein Handtuch hinhängen sollte) war Schimmel und allgemein war es nicht in einem guten Zustand. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis stimmte für mich somit leider nicht und ich hätte mir eine andere Atmosphäre erhofft.

Sie haben meinen großen Rucksack aufbewahrt als ich eine Nacht im Tayrona Park übernachten hab. Der Pool mit fantastischer Aussicht! Und es wurde oft sauber gemacht!

Klimaanlage super kalt, hab nach einer Decke gefragt, da Klimaanlage wohl nicht runterstellbar war.
