SWEET HOSTEL LUXOR

It's clean and centrally located near go bus station and Luxor temple. The air-conditioning works.

The staff has some confusion. When checking in - the owner appeared to struggle to find a room/or the correct room. Forgot that I left my baggage with him. Once I finally settled into a room. Around 11pm - I was woken up by loud and aggressive banging on the door and shouting Arabic. It was a young staff member who questioned why I'm in that room and made me talk to (who I assumed was the owner) over the phone and then proceeded to leave me alone. This would be considered to be a traumatic experience by many. Wifi not working well if you are on the higher floor.

まずチェックインしに行ったらホテルが改装中？で泊まれないと言われました。なんで改装中なのに予約サイトにこのホテルを泊まれるように掲載しているんだ？と思い非常に驚きました。この時点で予約者に迷惑を掛けているのにツアーの勧誘を延々とし始めてどういう神経をしてるんだと思いました。(しつこかったけどツアーはネットが安いからすべて断った)そして別のホテルを用意しているということで車で送ってもらうと、予約していたホテルは東岸のホテルなのに西岸のホテルへ連れて行かれました。１日目は東側を観光しようと思っていたのに予定が狂い最悪でした。そもそもなんで予約者に許可無く東側じゃなくて西側のホテルを泊まらせようと思ったのか理解できない。普通に考えて予定を立てて東側に宿を予約したのだから用意すべきホテルは東側のホテルだろと思い愕然とした。こんなことは初めての経験だったので本当に驚いたしひどい宿だと思いました。そんなリスクを取る必要も意味もないのでここを予約することは絶対に避けた方がよいです。オーナーの頭はイカれてます。

Llegamos como a las 2:00 am y el taxi no encontraba el hotel, así que nos dejó en la avenida. El hotel está dentro de un callejón, doblando una esquina. Justo había una fiesta ahí, y tuve que pasar con mi pareja y las maletas entre la gente (solo hombres) que nos hablaban al pasar; por suerte uno nos indicó dónde estaba el hotel. El cuarto que nos tocó estaba en un tercer piso, las escaleras son angostas y sin ascensor. En la habitación se escuchaba clarísimo el ruido de la fiesta, que siguió varias horas más. El caño del lavatorio estaba flojo y parecía que se iba a salir. También reservé con el hotel un tour en globo. Me dijeron que bajara a las 5:15 am, bajé antes pero no había nadie. Tuve que despertar a un chico para preguntar y estuvo llamando por teléfono sin darme mucha información; al final nos recogieron unos 40 minutos tarde, cuando ya pensaba que habíamos perdido el tour.

老板对中国人热情，友好、吾良！老板主动力为我升级房间，非常感谢！位置非常好，离卢克索神庙1公里，旁边就是轮渡→去西岸，再马车去帝王谷／王后谷/哈布城。我住了3天，还包早餐、有鸡蛋／果汁/饼/果酱。青旅性价比高，安静，周边有超市和景点，方便打车，四通八达。干净，－楼有煤气／冰箱，可烧饭

Considerando il prezzo, è una sistemazione semplice ma confortevole, con facile accesso al centro di Luxor e ottima per fare escursioni. Non ha mobili particolarmente belli o comodi, ma dopotutto si tratta di una struttura pensata come ostello.

Forse si potrebbe mantenere una migliore pulizia delle camere e dei bagni, che al momento risultano, diciamo, al limite; ma va bene, considerando il prezzo.

This hostel makes me feel safe as a female solo traveller. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful, providing professional service. Plus it is a cost-effective hostel near to the bus station, train station, and Luxor Temple.

The streets nearby may seem a little messy when you first come here.

Genuine people and very helpfull, not only the hotel staff (thanks guys) but also the guy that took my partner on the back of his motorbike to get a great deal on a ring......thanks mate!!! Mr Abdu is a great host and will advise the best way to see this city, baloon ride is a must and he will do everyting to make it happen for you. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Only there for 1 night but would be ok for more, luggage was left until we had to travel, cheers

Not many people there at this time so maybe more variaty for breakfast
