"nice and clean, simple and just what we wanted but over priced"

We didn’t really expect any. Was good to get cereals and toast and happy to make own but it was very expensive for a hostel

We stayed for a single night i can’t say how lovely and homely and clean and fun this place was to stay. Everyone was beyond helpful and genuinely so happy to tell us about where they’re so proud to live.

"It's a hostel not a luxury hotel but still a lot better than average in all respects"

Close to the middle of Dunbar. Everything was cleaner and tidier than I expected. Staff were helpful and friendly as were the other guests.

No complaints really.

Very friendly staff who made my dog and I feel welcome. I have mobility problems and I was helped to the room with my bags being carried from the car. When I left, my bags were carried to the car. I really appreciated this help. Quirky accommodation and a good atmosphere. It was very clean. We would be happy to stay again

The en suite bedroom was on the second floor with no lift, i quite understand that the old building makes a lift impossible to fit!

"Ideal for independent travellers"

This was our second stay at the Dolphin Inn and probably won't be our last. The accommodation is ideal for independent travellers, with an excellent shared kitchen and dining area. We stayed in one of the ensuite rooms and found this to be comfortable for a four-night stay. The staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly, always available for helpful advice on places to visit.
