Good concept of community hall with accommodation. May be well suited to trekkers, Fabulous view. Kitchen was fine especially as we were the only guests.

No shower separation or curtain in bathroom so floor was constantly wet. We met no staff until check out morning. New building on big portion of land yet rooms were small - the property design could have been generous. Volunteer well-meaning but amateur staff meant it took four phone calls to pay in advance. Address on booking.com did not equal the location.

Bunk bed mattress were slightly uncomfortable and it would be nice if there was atleast one couch in the room to sit on- although room were small though so not sure if couch can fit.. we booked the room with Mountain View but view from room 1 was blocked .. you have to stab in front of the toilet door to see the view so little disappointed with that but when you are out - you have 180 degrees of view

Lovely clean rooms in a perfect location for the Snowdonia Slate Trail Kitchen had everything we needed Shower was great Having a shop available was very helpful, although it’s understandably not large so there are limited choices The chap in the shop was friendly and helpful

The bunk beds were a bit firm for me and pillows weren’t very comfortable The communication was nonexistent I’m afraid. Not sure what happened but the website says they can provide breakfast packs and food for lunch. We were backpacking so this would have been really useful. I emailed a fortnight before, then again a week before, to ask about these but didn’t get a reply. We had to make sure we arrived before 5 to get something from the shop instead

The location is stunning. If you want a real experience of a genuine Welsh landscape, surrounded by friendly, supportive and welcoming locals, this is the place to stay. The centre has everything you need, plus my son will never forget staying overnight in an actual (former) school! The staff were friendly, accommodating and informative. The facilities were great (especially access to the washing machine). The rooms had everything you needed and more, with stunning views. Great that you have access to the kitchen/lounge so that you can cook your own food. Surprisingly good bus connections, right outside. Would love to stay again.

Nothing really. Hard to suggest anything to improve, but it would be ideal if the gate to the playing field below the venue could be put on a latch/passcode so that it is easier to get down to the lovely grassy playing area, where we enjoyed playing the most scenic game of frisbee we have ever had.

Quietness, cleanliness. Really peaceful location up in the mountains. No problems with checking in or out. Keys left in safe. Dogs accepted. Amazing view from bedroom.

Blocked shower drain, disabled shower seat didn't have lock so we couldn't stand in shower as the seat was in the way. Mattress gave me a back pain but I guess is just my condition as other family members didn't complain. No chopping board in kitchen to cut the bread or other things.

Bob was very friendly, kitchen and parking were very useful. The dorms were clean and comfortable, close to Snowdon perfect location if you plan on taking on the trek
