Greenway & Copper Coast Hostel

Nicholas was very accommodating when we landed and gave us the tour of the place. The hostel facilities such as the kitchen, living room, shower and toilets were clean and spacious. I specially love the games room because I played pool with my dad and it has other games you can try as well. I would definitely recommend this place as the room was value for money, great location because it is literally 30 minutes away to everything we want to go: Tramore, Waterford City, Dungarvan and Mahon Falls. and the owner Nicholas was very welcoming, helpful and friendly overall.

Bunmahon itself

The room did not match the images on the website. There was a strong smell of smoke in the room, and even after airing before bed, the odour worsened during the night and woke me up around 1:30 a.m. I had to open the window, which made the room cold and left me feeling uncomfortable and chilly. As a non-smoker, I found the smell very hard to tolerate and quite upsetting. A night light stayed on in the room all night, and the constant brightness affected my sleep. I also noticed a dark hair on the bed, making me wonder whether the bedding had been changed recently. Unfortunately, the quality of the stay did not match the cost. I would not return.

A large group of males who seem to be construction workers who live there. They didn't look like guests or tourists. They were very loud past 10pm (against the quiet time policy), snoring all night, banging doors and shouting all over the place from 6 am. We didn't get much sleep and were wrecked the following day.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich habe mich gleich zu Beginn sehr willkommen gefühlt. Der Inhaber ist ein ganz lieber Kerl mit dem man sich gut unterhalten kann :)

Die Küche war zum Teil einbischen dreckig. Die Air Fryer waren sehr dreckig und nicht appetitlich anzusehen ,so auch die Mikrowelle. Die Heizung hat die ganze Zeit geknarzt, so dass ich sie über Nacht ausschalten musste und morgens leicht erkältet aufwachte. Generell war es sehr kalt im Hostel.
