Poshtel Ubud

Nice hostel with a really great rooftop terrace. I stayed longer than expected and stayed again a couple of days later. There is free drinking water and a really good breakfast each morning (you get something different every day). The location is right at the market street and most of the sights are within walking distance.

The aircon is really strong and therefore the dorms are pretty cold. If there would be a proper blanket, this would be perfect, but since there is only a thin blanket, I was mostly too cold at night. I stayed in two different dorms, the first one had a window that could be opened, but the second one only the door, so there was not a lot of fresh air. Also the bathroom within the second dorm had a milky-glass door which could not be locked. It was a female dorm, but it still felt weird.

Staff very nice, place is super clean, room cleaning happening every day, very good breakfast included in the price, comfy bed, bed curtains for some privacy, central location but not noisy, beautiful rooftop. You can fill up your water bottle for free and avoid too much plastic trash. I would really recommend it.

Like in comments of others: the bathroom "Parfum" is really too strong and smelly and you have a shower and and toilet in each bedroom. As they are mixed dorms you should be aware that there isn't privacy when you step into or out of the shower. If that's okay for you: stay at Poshtel. There no scooter parking but a big public parking space close by.

Great location, the staff are super helpful with organizing tours, taxi etc. The complementary breakfast was very good every morning. The beds are comfortable and it's clean. The pictures do not do this place justice.
