Noname Hostel And Cafe

Lovely ambience! Very tidy room and bathroom, kind and helpful staff, breakfasts that change every morning. Location a bit further away from the town but very near to many tourist attractions. But most importantly, very tasteful decor and great atmosphere - many cozy spaces for relaxing, tasty and reasonably priced food and drinks. I'll be back :)

The owner and the staff is really really nice. The view into nature and the chillout-area are nice. Breakfast was awesome!

I am shocked by the good rating of this place. The owner is so nice so it is hard to leave a bad review. I am travelling since more than one year and the mattress was the worst I have had. It was totally saggy (it felt like there is a huge hole in the mattress) and it felt like sitting all night. It was impossible to sleep on the stomach. Is asked the next morning if I can have a different mattress. They changed it and I got the same shitty one. I put a pillow underneath my butt so I could sleep at least a little bit. I then decided to leave after two days. Not only the beds were uncomfortable, also the wet, moist smell was insane. After checking out all my clothes smelled badly and everything was damp and I needed to put it all into laundry. On the walls there is mold. A million mosquitoes in the room as well. On the whole property there is one bathroom including a shower. All outside guests use the bathroom as well so I didn't feel comfortable sharing it with that many people. Toilet flush was barely ever working so the smell in the bathroom was insane. Sorry to leave such an honest review but I think the reviews do not fit to the reality. I moved to a better hostel in town since this one is also a 20 minute walk from the city center

Located right beside of Nine Arch Bridge and the path to Little Adam's peak - a bit outside of the center, but okay to walk.

The owner is really nice and will help you with anything you need. Nice and comfortable, I slept very well. One common area so it's easy to meet other travelers. Great place, I stayed for 5 nights in total. Amazing view from the main area.

Location is great for Little Adam's peak hike, Nine arch bridge etc but otherwise very touristy. Nice spot to stay for the hikes + very nice breakfast!

I travelled with a friend and we loved the hostel. Our host and all other staff (including his brother who we kept calling to drive us with the tuk tuk) were so hospitable and friendly, we enjoyed talking to them a lot. We were given tips for trips and also had other nice conversations and we even watched a Sri Lankan movie together one night. The rooms were nice and had everything we needed. We loved that every day we got something different for breakfast. Furthermore, the terrace is a very nice place to sit and hang out and we were really impressed that our host built the hostel all by his own. We will definitely recomment this accomodation to others, thanks for everything and hopefully we will come back sometime!

Warm water in the shower came quite unfrequently, but everything else was fine!

Bit pricy, but everything is pricy in Ella. Location is a bit far from train station, but this is no problem.

The owner is so nice, will give you great recommendations and is lovely company. Breakfast included was great and different every day. Lovely location up the hill from the main road in Ella, easy access to all the attractions. Cheap drinks in comparison to other spots in Ella. Really nice vibe, good chill music and lovely staff!

Building works when I was staying there so a little noisy but they should be finished soon!
