Sunshine Vintage House

Perfect location in a quiet area but close to everything. The dorm and the bathroom are really clean and convenient. The team is very nice and careful. Several breakfast options cooked on order. In short, I'd come back without any hesitation!

Common areas are quite small so might be difficult if you need a bit of privacy for a call

The rooms are very clean and comfy, and social area also very nice. But the best is Nick, he helped me in a lot of things. Gave me advices, organizes wonderfull and special trips.. made my short stay in Ubud unforgettable

great location in ubud, close to the main shopping and food areas. down a secluded back street so very peaceful and quiet. Nick is a great host and makes you feel very welcome. lots of tours available too.

Great hosts who were very helpful and friendly, nice atmosphere and great breakfast - simple but filling!

Not the most sociable

The Hostel is amazing. It is located just a 10min walk from the center and 5min walk from the monkey forest. It is located off the main road so sleep is not an issue. The Host Nick is incredibly friendly. I've never seen a hostel that clean. They even do your bed in the dorms which are definitely comfortable with a very nice curtainfor privacy and an small slide window for each bed. At least in the upper dorm.

Nothing

My reservation was confirmed and my email arrived. I contacted the hostel owner in the morning and we talked on WhatsApp until the evening. 10 hours later I arrived in Ubud and got on my motorbike. And on the way that man told me that I didn’t have a bed. I said that my reservation was confirmed, how is this possible, don’t you have any laws? He threatened me by saying that he would call the police. Then I went there and he recommended his neighbor to me. He said that my accommodation at his neighbor’s would be free, but I paid for it. He lied to booking that I didn’t check in. Imagine this happening to you in the middle of your vacation. And you arrived after a 10-hour journey. And there was no bed.I can only add 4 photos.

The host family was amazing and very accommodating.
