Eldorado Lodge and Restaurant

The location was good, pretty quiet but a close walk to the boardwalk commercial strip. The Egyptian staff were extremely kind and helpful.

I was disappointed with my stay. The price of the room was very high by Egyptian standards, so I was expecting a nice hotel but this is really a budget backpacker hostel priced like a fancy hotel. The wifi didn't work for most of our time there, which was a problem because I was working remotely. We had no running water one morning. Beds were not very comfortable. Room was clean, but not very nice and did not have good sonic insulation.

Location, right across from the beach. The restaurant food was lovely.

The shower water did not drain away.

The staff here work so hard to maintain the place and keep guests happy. There is a beach area right in front of the hotel which they are constantly cleaning and tidying. I loved the location and the layout of the hotel and the yoga deck overlooking the ocean is great! They took care of all my needs during my 8 day stay. Good aircon, too.

Staff made little effort to engage once we’d checked in; it felt impersonal Ate there once but only once because we ordered focaccia but got pizza. Expensive and not worth it
