Bunk house Fort Kochi

Situation was excellent and not noisy.

The room was announced as Deluxe and the photos on your site was misleading.The room was very humid. Cleanliness could be better. Paint was peeling on some walls. Bathroom mirror had not been wiped in a long time.

Great location, helpful staff, nice communal areas.

Old building means no sound proofing: ground floor rooms (we stayed in number 2) hear every sound from the floor above: soft footsteps sound like giant stomps. The building is old and while nicely renovated, has a 2-layer wooden middle that acts like a bass drum. Tough to impossible to sleep well if you are on the ground floor. Dormitory rooms, on the 1st floor, don't have this problem. We had booked for 2 nights but left after the first sleepless one.

Very nice hostel, clean well situated and the staff is very kind and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Such a nice hostel! One of the better hostels I’ve stayed in in India. everything is there: ac in the rooms, curtains on the bunkbeds, towels, clean showers (of which 1 is women-only), a nice common room, beautiful building, very central location, and also the host is extremely nice, he will send you a WhatsApp message with all his recommendations (and they really are good) and he is very helpful. He helped me to book my bus and was always there for information. Thanks.

Our booking was made months before our trip to spend new year in Kochi - we checked twice that the booking was confirmed a month and and again two week later before and were told it was all good. Then a few days before arrival the property cancelled with no adequate explanation. They did not offer any other alternative despite there being beds available on the booking . com website.
