Nice location, easy to walk to some good food spots. Also a very short walk to the railway station

Room felt like it was falling apart a little. Broken frames hanging on the wall, the ceiling fan had dropped out of its socket. The Bed mattress was rock solid, the hot water for the shower didn’t go very far, the towels were old, and the floor felt dirty in both the bedroom and bathroom. The duvet cover, although seemed clean, had a few stains on it too. We also tried to use their laundry service as we were a week into our trip. We dropped our clothes off midday on our arrival and they said they’d be back and ready to collect the following evening. It was just as well we had 2 nights here as it actually took over 48 hours to get our clothes back, some which had detergent marks on them on return. When we asked the reception concierge for our laundry the following day he wasn’t even aware we had dropped any off! When it finally was ready we had a knock on our door at 9pm with someone we didn’t recognise asking for 500 rupees first before going to collect our laundry for us? We insisted we see our laundry at least in his hand to exchange the money for at least first rather than giving him it empty handed!

Food was good.. But our room was not so clean.. Though it was good.. The rooftop was very good. Value for money.

Please make sure the rooms were properly cleaned.

In the end I got a room matching what I booked. Both the room and the bathroom was spotless clean. There are 2 lovely restaurant terraces.

The first room I got, didn't look much like the deluxe room I booked. It was later changed as it didn't have hot water boiler for shower. Always check your bill in the restaurant as they tried twice to overcharge me with more expensive items than I had. Always keep your receipts as when I checked out they said I hadn't paid for dinner. On Booking.com it says book without a credit card. That usually means pay cash on arrival, but then I got a message about transfering money into a bank account. If they want payment up front then take it through Booking.com! International bank transfers are ridiculous expensive and not instant. I took a chance of loosing the booking and paid cash on arrival.
