Host was not cooperating with using any available things because we stayed for one day

Fantastic owner and staff! They were really helpful and gave us beautiful hiking/scooter tips. And they didn't disappoint! Played and learned some new games with the staff and other backpackers! The view from our room and balcony was stunning! Recommend arriving by scooter, because it's a very steep way to the hotel and it gives you a lot more freedom to visit munnar and the beautiful tea plantations!

If we have to complain about something, the wifi could be better in the room.

The hotel owner was very friendly and informative about the area. The hostel beds were so comfortable and the room was spacious. The shower was great and also there was hot water. I really enjoyed my stay, it was quiet and it was lovely to be around nature.

The walk up the hill was steep and tough. As the hotel didn't do food I had to go up and down every day fir breakfast and usually stayed out till the evening. The hotel is not in Munnar but in Anachal which is a nice village and the shows are on every evening the martial arts and katchakalli which are brilliant.

Great hostel, I rent scooter and this place was on my way. And also there was option to rent towel for 50 inr

Shaiju and his wife are delightful; so kind, helpful and caring. I was recovering from flu when I arrived and was swiftly given a Tulsi vaporiser! Thank you both! The property itself is beautiful and the starry skies so clear from the roof terrace. The dorms are very spacious and at least when I was there, guests spread between them so they aren't crowded. Clean bathrooms with hot water shower Nice to be able to access the kitchen to make basic foods/drinks It is absolutely silent here at night. One of the only places in India where I've seen the bedsheets AND blankets washed after every guest!

The hill to get to the property is only 100metres but is super steep. Not all autos can make it up so be prepared to walk! There are no lockers but this was not a problem as it felt so friendly and safe and there are many CCTV cameras. Be aware that the property is about 30 minutes from Munnar itself and there are no views locally of the tea plantations. For the bus to Munnar you need to walk around 10 minutes and the cost is approx 30rs. Auto costs around 450rs.

Nice home stay with doublerooms and dormitory beds. You can use a kitchen as well. Really recomended to have motobike otherwise you will stay stuck (valid for whole Anachal)

Very good location 5 min walking from Anachal town, restaurants, bus station... The family who manage the place are very lovely and helpful. The rooms are very big, with a terrace and nice, and new bathrooms. The vibe was really good, I met very mindful travelers and the terrace is a good spot to practice yoga during sunrise.

The only bad thing is the hill to reach the hostel
