Casa Azul Hostel

The owner Antonio is a very great host, who remembers every guest's name and introduces each other to help travelers social. He not only provides accommodation, but runs a warm, welcoming and safe "home" for travelers. Thanks.

I really enjoyed the time I spent at Casa Azul Hostel, mainly because the place was very clean, tidy and the kitchen well equipped (something that I really appreciate). There are two communal areas where you can socialise with other travellers; there are two toilets and a huge terrace too! There are lockers in case you need them to keep your important items safe during your stay. I stayed in a 6 bed dorm - the people were quiet, so I could rest after all day visiting the city. You can expect a quiet place, clean, tidy and as enchanting as the city of Sintra. If in the future I’ll go back to Sintra to visit the other Palaces I had no time to visit at this time, with no doubt I will repeat the experience at Casa Azul Hostel. Nice hostel with a good location! Owner is always helpfull and you can leave your bag when arriving early. Easy to connect with people, wich is always nice!

Antonio was een super gastheer, altijd opgewekt en behulpzaam! Zelfs na het uitchecken mocht koffie en thee in de keuken nemen en kon ik mijn spullen achter laten om Sintra te verkennen.

Het enige nadeel is dat de badkamer klein is, maar daar valt niets aan te doen. Verder echt een aanrader!

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The room was exactly as described and spotlessly clean. The hostel was friendly but peaceful. Antonio was a perfect host - a truly kind and caring man!

You could hear the road noise in our room, but this was to be expected by being in such a central location and having big windows/terrace. It didn't affect our stay at all, however might influence other travellers.

Goede kamer met een heerlijk, supergroot bed. Voor de kamer zou ik een 9 geven!

1 badkamer voor de hoeveelheid gasten vind ik te weinig. Voor de badkamer geef ik een 6.

I spent three nights at Casa Azul and received a very warm welcome from António, he is incredibly friendly and helpful. Everything was neat and clean. Although the location is very central, it was quiet at night, perfect for sleeping.😊 Thank you so much, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back.🤗

skvělý sympatický personál, kuchyňka plně vybavená, káva a čaj zdarma. Hostel na skvělém místě. Můžu jedině doporučit. Moc děkuji za krásný pobyt.
