DON'T EVER BOOK ON THIS HOSTEL. Please everyone, also girls especially those who are traveling solo, read this post. I had a last minute change of plans in my stay in Kutaisi. I supposed to be in Batumi but due to some circumstances, the tour was postponed and I had to book this hostel with limited budget. When I arrived, the Bolt driver was so kind and called the number in booking.com but it was wrong number. First red flag. When he called the number posted in the street, the one who answered was an old guy. He was so confused when he went down and see me with the helpful driver. Then they spoke and he grabbed my small luggage and let me inside the veranda. He said I need to wait. 2nd red flag. Looking in the surrounding, it was like an old house and not properly maintained. I was starting to get scared this time because it was already 7pm and dark. I'm having second thoughts already. And I was alone. He then get his phone show me my name and I said, 'Yes.' it was on the booking application. He said this time, 'okay, wait, no problem'. He called someone and he grabbed again my luggage and we went at the side of the street (see photo below with that gate). He said 'This is the girls hostel.' I asked 'this way up?' as I saw a steep ladder. He said yes. I first go up and he carried my luggage and he went down again and he said I need to wait. It was dark already, my phone has a night mode that's why the photo I took was still clear. He came again from the inside and opened the door for me. I saw the beds, and he gave the the towel and I placed it in one bed. He showed me around the wash room, kitchen etc. And then I paid the amount and he left. I roam around and all I see was a dirty place. 3rd red flag. It was so unhygienic. And it was like a place that nobody and no one uses for a long time. I said to myself that it was just for the night.

Nothing

Nobody at hostel despite alleged reservation, but it gets worse: English phone disconnected. Moreover, when I call Russian phone - despite not knowing Russian - after much confusion, informed hostel is closed and nothing they can/will do for me. ... Btw, it is a long walk up a steep hill to get there and there is nothing nearby.
