Unfortunately, earplugs necessary. This is just an old house that they’ve renovated to be a hostel, so there is zero soundproofing. The halls are *extremely* echoey, so from your room, you can constantly hear people talking and moving in and out of the hallways. In my room, there was also a gap between the top of door and the door frame, so light and noise came in from the hallway. Also, the outer door of the hostel is locked from the inside, which seems like a fire hazard. In case of emergency, one would have to stop and unlock the door just to exit.

No bath (was in proposition) only shower. Kitchen and bathroom are common for 3 rooms!
