The Culture Nation Hostel Manali

The hostel was in a great location with lots of cafes, restaurants and stores within a 5 minute walk and great unobstructed views of the mountains within a 10 min walk. The private room with balcony was very spacious and extremely comfortable, and the bedding was cozy enough to withstand -5 C temperatures in the night. The terrace lounge/cafe was a great place to meet other travelers and the food was always fresh, hot and delicious. The staff were very professional and courteous through the entire stay.

The only missing part in this hostel is the lack of an indoor common room, as the the rooftop terrace gets cold in rainy/snowy winter conditions.

Everything is perfect even more for people who want to do their work from here. They have high-speed wifi and work stations on the rooftop with mountain views. Dorms are good with comfy beds and hot showers run 24 hours. You don't have to walk too much uphill as this hostel is located in the starting point of old manali. Bonus: need to mention that they have a good collection of books because usually you will find the same type of books in different hostels.
