Notholmen, Tyresö

Very beautiful place and friendly service. Extremely well equipped kitchen. The surrounding area is very nice to walk around and let your mind relax. No restaurants nearby but a short drive to grocery store and you can cook anything in this kitchen. Right at the Tyresö slott. The staff helped us move our luggage from the parking lot 10 minute walk away, just ask them!

The stairs that go upstairs are dangerous and toilet is quite far from the building for late night visits. The toilet and shower facilities are however clean and functional :) Take slippers!

Beautiful location, lot's of wildlife and beautiful natural habitat. The cafe had delicious offerings. The staff was extremely accommodating once we realized that the property did not meet our needs and needed to cut short our stay. I recommend for people to stay here when they are looking for a quiet getaway to nature, but still want a bed and access to bathrooms in another building, as long as you are packing light and can carry your bags down half a mile down a gravel road.

I did not like the stairs in the building with the bedrooms. They do not accommodate half the length of a normal foot. I forgot that the first floor in Europe means the second story of the building, so the stairs had a lot to do with the facilities not meeting our needs.

The location of Notholmen is stunning, placed right next to the water and the cafe. The house itself is perfect for families.

I didn't like having to share a kitchen with the other houses. It become quite a squeeze. It's also quite annoying not having at least a toilet in the house. While its fine using the separate bathroom opposite during the day, ät night it's less convenient. The house, often etc, could have been much cleaner.
