The Way Hostel & Bar

Big shoutout to the best and friendly staff! It was a pleasant time and super chilled to stay in the hostel! You can get in to close contact with local people by cycling around the village, which is the best idea! All in all very good and thank you! :)

the staff is extremely friendly it's almost as if you knew them already! The backpackers, the staff, and I drank and had meals together while we talked. We also watched some series cause why not anyway, way cooler than I could ever expect! Miss it already

I am biking around Taiwan now, I wish I could stay more

The owners are very helpful and can speak good English, the rooms and common areas are all very clean, and the upstairs common area has amazing views as well as being very comfortable. The facilities are pleasant to use and the location is very good, as well as extremely silent at night with usually no outside noise at all

There seemed to be no soap in the bathroom area which was a bit inconvenient

There are so many things to like about The Way Hostel and Bar! But because I have to choose, I'll say that the jolly hostel crew, it's location close to Donggan Ferry Terminal, and the amazing rooftop vibe were my favorite. The bar on the ground floor has got a very chill and friendly vibe with board games, great drinks, many many travel books and a hustle bustle of divers and travelers. The hosts gave me and my friends our Taiwanese names and that will always be very special for me.

I wish I had more days to spend at the hostel.
