We wanted to experience what a hostel was like. You can walk to the beach, which was great.

It was an unfamiliar lodging type for us.

Close to the beach and town

It was overpriced and dirty. Beds were so uncomfortable. Lucky we bought our own bedding as we didn’t feel comfortable sleeping on the sheets and pillows provided. Shower ran constantly and flooded bathroom, they were doing renovations and were very noisy early every morning. Management were rude and treated me like a child at school. I booked a private room for 2 adults and a child and was told my partner could not stay there with us. Was also told on arrival I could have drinks and chill in the common area only to be told to get out and lectured about it the next afternoon. It’s a backpackers. Come on. Also questioned on who my daughter was and has she paid to stay at the accommodation. She is 12. Never will I spend $140 a night to stay here again.

Nice atmosphere

The mattress was horrible, I felt all the bed springs. And the blanket smells very very bad.

It was a nice place to stay, it was quiet and the people there are very nice. The only thing was the beds are very unstable so even lifting my hand would move the bed and they were also very low, i switched from top to bottom bunk when i could and it was much better but i hit my head quite a few times😅 other than that it was great and clean, maybe a bit old but clean and functional😁
