The place is nice and in a good location and nearby to many things.

We had an unusual experience where we ended up paying for two rooms despite only staying in one room. When you try to book a room for two people it says that the booking doesn't accommodate your group. We booked it anyway for two people assuming it's a glitch or something. We show up and it turns out we have two rooms booked. They said it was because they didn't know that we were married, which was a strange explanation for us. She called her son to clarify about the situation and he also asked on the phone if we were a married or unmarried couple. Finally, we agreed to cancel one of the bookings. According to the terms of cancellation from booking.com, we should be charged only half for the room we cancelled. Instead, they charged the full amount (actually they took 400 instead of R$ 430 and acted as if it was a big favour), despite even having someone else occupying the room for the second (out of two) nights. I see that every single review is from a solo traveller or a group of friends as of today, and not a single one from a couple.

Marlene é uma ótima anfitriã, uma querida! Toda manhã ela passa um cafezinho bem caseiro pros hóspedes: pão, frios e café preto! Acordei mais cedo um dos dias e tive o prazer de tomar o café conversando com ela, aproveitei pra perguntar tudo sobre o Estado do Espírito Santo. No dia do check-out, Marlene deixou que eu ficasse até próximo do horário do meu voo, o que facilitou muito a logística, pois não precisei ficar horas esperando no aeroporto e consegui dar uma última volta na praia ali perto. Aliás, a localização é ótima: perto da praia, bares e restaurantes, em uma região muito tranquila da cidade. O quarto e todo o ambiente comum são muito bem limpos e organizados. Se um dia voltar à Vitória, já tenho onde ficar!

The place has great location, I felt like in home there, Marlene is always there for any doubt, it does include breakfast

This is a lovely place in a very nice and safe part of the city. Marlene, the owner, makes you feel at home. It's clean and comfortable - I only wish I could have stayed longer!
