International Travellers' Hostel by ITH Stays

It’s a great place, excellent location and staff was helpful as well. I had a very comfortable stay at ITH.

Personally I loved this hostel, it's like a calm, tranquil oasis in amongst the madness that is modern urban India. It is close to Varanasi railway station but also only a 30 mins walk to the river. The owner and staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Definitely recommend.

I recently stayed at the International Travellers' Hostel by ITH Stays in Varanasi, and it was awesome! This place is a gem, nestled in a cool vintage British-era home just a short 7-minute walk from the Varanasi Railway Station. Talk about convenience! The rooms are comfy, clean, and air-conditioned, with hot and cold showers available around the clock. The staff, especially the super-friendly manager Bikash, went out of his way- to help us out thither local information and airport transfers. The vegetarian is a highlight—fresh, tasty food, and that Masala Chai in the morning? Perfect. The garden and common areas are beautiful and great for relaxing. All in all, I had an incredible time at the International Travellers' Hostel by ITH Stays and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Varanasi.

The location is really good and very close to the railway station, staff were kind.

The room had no proper ventilation.

-great staff -delicious food -clean -close to Varanasi Yard Railway -and most important: quite! India and especially Varanasi can get real busy. It’s super interesting and exciting to see, but it’s also nice to come back to the hostel and don’t hear the traffic all the time ☺️

All was perfect! But keep in mind you have to take a Tuktuk to the Ghats, since its little far away. But it’s worth the trade off to have a calm place ☺️ and I saw construction for a ropeway station nearby, so maybe in future you can get to the center by cable car! 🚠

My stay was truly exceptional—one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The warmth and hospitality of Bikas, Rajesh, Ranjith, and the owner were unparalleled; they treated me like family, making every moment unforgettable. Their kindness and the countless cherished memories I’ve made here are beyond words. A heartfelt thanks to ITH for creating such a special place that keeps drawing me back. Thank you, thank you!
