Brunnerton Lodge and Backpackers

Eve though the host was not here, he was very responsive in messages and tried to find a solution for my problems. Greymouth is a lovely little town, so the location is nice, quiet area. Kitchen and bathrooms were fine, also the free parking on site.

As I stayed during winter, central heating would have been a welcome addition, as the two portable heaters were not quite sufficient to keep the room comfortably warm. The building itself has a more traditional, retro character and appears somewhat dated in places. While it wasn't quite to my personal taste, guests who appreciate a vintage 1960s-style atmosphere may find it charming.

房間把手太爛了，很難打開跟關上。其他房間的應該也沒有很好（因為大家開門聲也很大，應該是很難開）。還有，房間插座非常少。

Quirky and charming living room and bedroom. Like stepping back to the 60s in the best possible way. Bed were comfortable and enjoyed the communal kitchen even though we had a little kitchenette. I would stay again.

I had a big family and we had the whole house, just shared kitchen and bathroom but overall all is well. Thank you to Mr John the owner for your great kindness and service, higly appreciated, we will definitely come back. Excellent.

Friendly family run business.

Front section is a pub and at weekends it can be noisy. Quite a distance from Greymouth. There are no shops or supermarkets nearby as there is insufficient population to sustain such businesses.

Simple, rustique et très bien ! Une super ambiance avec le bar (Buck’s Head) juste à côté :) Idéal pour passer une nuit dans une ambiance chaleureuse
