Brunnerton Lodge and Backpackers

This property was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, everything felt warm, clean, and welcoming. The space was beautifully maintained, thoughtfully designed, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect — quiet, safe, and close to all the main attractions. The bed was extremely comfortable, the amenities were high-quality, and every little detail showed how much care the host puts into this place. Communication was smooth and friendly, and check-in was effortless. I genuinely loved staying here and would happily return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free stay.

Cool place, vintage looking, place is full of history

Die Unterkunft war sehr ruhig. Man kommt aber nur mit dem Auto hin. Parkplätze sind vor Ort. Man kann von den hauseigenen Hühner Eier kaufen. Es befindet sich ein Aufenthaltsraum mit vielen Büchern dort. Es gibt eine Küche mit Herd, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank und alles was man so braucht. Nachts ist es aber recht kühl und man merkt das Alter des Hauses. Alles in allem war der Aufenthalt gut für unsere Familie.

Es ist eine normales Hostel. Man sollte keine zu hohen Erwartungen haben. In der Nacht ist es recht kühl.

We were so happy to book a last-minute stay at Brunnerton Lodge and Backpackers when the weather proved too rainy for camping. The queen bed in our room was super comfy! John was kind enough to get a fire going so we could have a cozy evening in with our books. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast.

The two adults who slept in the bunkbed in our triple room did not find it to be the most comfortable, and having to request towels to shower wasn't ideal.

Rosie and grace ( the dogs) were lovely, they first came to greet me. Loved the back yard, chickens were escaping lol. John the owner was friendly and Brian also. Thank you so much had a lovely stay.

Umm just a couple of hairs in the shower tray which can easily be overlooked.

Little things could improve the rooms. The bed was clean and cozy. The fireplace was lovely.

A message on the fridge that it was out of order could have helped.
