Lugnåsberget Ekohotell

Quiet forested countryside. Free parking, clean, comfortable rooms. Free wifi but a bit slow. Nice shared kitchen, separate breakfast area, available sauna, friendly and helpful staff/owner.

The bathroom has few hanging hooks or towel rails. There is no sink countertop for your toiletries. The room and bathroom were very warm and muggy with the curtains shut. There was no mosquito mesh on the window so a few mosquitoes were buzzing around my head which along with the heat made it hard to sleep.

Waking up with sheeps just outside the door was a real treat. Very friendly reception by the owner. It's a nice project they have going on.

It was a pleasant stay for sure, but we do except (for a place with "hotel" in the name) to arrive to a made bed and not "do-it-yourself", especially when you're travelling on a tighter schedule. The breakfast was ok, but very limited and we would have loved more fruits/vegetables. Maybe we mis-interpreted the concept, but this is our feedback according to our expectations.
