Backpack Hostel Kohyaoyai

Loved this hostel! The host was so nice and helpful, rented a scooter here and enjoyed my stay a lot. Comfortable rooms and facilities, would definitely return!

Das Hostel lag nahe dem Pier. Man konnte alles vor Ort buchen, was man brauchte, sprich Roller Laundry, ggf. Tickets. Der Owener war immer greifbar und hilfsbereit.

Die Matratzen waren sehr sauber, allerdings Federkern. Auch in Thailand wäre heutzutage eine Hartschaummatratze Standard. Sonst alles in Ordnung.

Les lits en dortoir vraiment bien par rapport à ce que j’ai déjà pu avoir. Matelas confortable, lumière, prise et rideaux à disposition même si vous êtes en hauteur. Grande échelle pour descendre, lit pas bancales du tout. Eau et autres boissons à volonté, gratuitement. Sèches cheveux à disposition. 1er hostel que je vois avec autant de miroirs ! Trop cool Toilettes et douches bien grandes !

Douche qui fuit, araignée et autre inspectes au plafond de la douche… L’amabilité de l’hôte pas au rdv.

This looked like the only hostel in Yao yai. It was clean and had a small socia area and kitchen. On arrival it felt like it was in the middle of nowhere - but actually there is a 7-11 and restaurants a 10min walk away, and you can walk to the beach in 20-25mins. If you don’t scoot there is not much to do, but you can also rent a scooter from reception which would make this the perfect budget location. I was able to organise a kayaking trip and a shared transfer to another part of the island through the super friendly guy on reception.

You need to have a scooter to make the most of this location. Okay for one or two nights if not.
