Fajar Hotel

Very handy location, just a short distance off the main road. I've stayed here several times before. Good value for money. Restaurant attached to the hotel is very good for breakfast (but limited for evening meals). There are a selection of restaurants and shops very nearby. Every time I've been I've been able to park right outside the hotel.

There is no lift which is annoying if (like me) you have a lot of bags to take to your room - especially if you are on the top floor. The lighting in Malaysian hotels is often poor, but this is much worse than most - get some brighter bulbs!

I stay here a lot. Staff are consistently great. The mamak shop below is 24hr and has some of the best food I've had even after 15 years of living here. The hotel is amazing value for money. It's comfortable and clean. You can't argue. If you wanna argue then pay more for another hotel. What you pay here is better than expected.

Sometimes the rooms smell a bit stale. I think they need to air the rooms more. Especially if somebody has been smoking.. I'm a smoker but would never smoke in a room. I can even smell old smoke. I always request a non smoking room but the room still smells.

2 times the ac trip at midnight, shower not properly maintained, sinki outside toilet.

The male receptionist who helped shared information about where to eat and places. He was very helpful and accommodative during our stay that made it pleasant too

The leak at the water heater. .

Close to the airport. AC works well. Banks with ATMs and food options within walking distance, plenty to choose from. Security is good, location is fine, wifi worked fine.

Bed was too small. No ceiling fan, sometimes this is better than AC blowing on you. Could hear a water drainage sound a lot from the bathroom (maybe when other rooms showered, or just at random) which was annoying.
