MYN/A
the durian smell that lingers in my room and my clothes because someone/customer brought a durian into her room , probably ate it in the toilet ( the ventilation pipe in the toilet connected to other's bathroom) and the fact that I had to stay out for a few hours because the smell still lingers in the floor hall even after they changed me to another room.
MYWalk to airport, 4 bottles of water, biscuit
Got coffee powder but no water heater

GBGreat location for airport and Danum valley operators. Great restaurant attached. Roti chanai and Murtabak exceptional. V good wifi
MYI stayed at Room 101 for around 3 nights (additional 2 nights which I just booked from the counter). All was well EXCEPT my bathroom had a peeping hole for whoever in the hotel management to look at me showering (and doing my business in the toilet). It was not a camera, but a freaking square hole that the peeping tom(s) was using to stalk whoever as guest is). So ladies especially be careful. I wantes to lodge police report but since it was my last day, and I only realized it few hours before my flight, I couldn't do so. Be careful ya for those wanting to stay there. It's also my fault since I forgot to take photos since I was too shock. I was traumatized by this whole experience. I also didn't tell the receptionist since he was a man, and I didn't trust him enough for that.
GBFor the area it was pretty good but by western standards old and dated
The Lahad Datu area is quite poor although the hotel is in what I would say the suburbs of the town a better area
