- Our standard check-in time is 1 PM and the standard check-out time is 10 AM. Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability, and may also attract an additional fee at the property's discretion. - We strictly DO NOT allow a group of more than 8 people. In case of a group of 3 or more, you might be purposefully allotted different dorm rooms. Further, if the group behaviour is deemed unfit at the property, the Zostel Property Manager, upon subjective evaluation, retains the full right to take required action which may also result in an on-spot cancellation without refunds. - Children below 18 years of age are not permitted entry/stay at any of our hostels, with or without guardians. We do not recommend families. - We only accept a government ID as valid identification proof. No local IDs shall be accepted at the time of check-in. - Guests are not permitted to bring outsiders inside the hostel campus. - We believe in self-help and do not provide luggage assistance or room services. - Drugs and any substance abuse is strictly banned inside and around the property. - Alcohol consumption is permitted at the premises as per the property’s discretion and local laws. Outside alcohol consumption is not allowed in dorm rooms and common areas. However, it can be consumed in private rooms. - Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. - All guests are advised to secure their belongings at all times. The property is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items. - Right to admission reserved.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Payment before arrival by bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. A deposit may be required at the property.

The property is great! Is the location the most convenient? Perhaps not (for some). Is the location worth the inconvenience? Absolutely! The cafe is superb! The staff is friendly. Akshat is, undoubtedly, the MVP. Will stay here again.

"Was Absolutely Lovely Stay! I'd stay there again :)"

Location - For someone who's in Plains, the Hostel is located in Upper Dharamkot, would be quite a ride. Very steep for scooty/bike. But the roads are there, totally upon skill. View and Location, Located just from where the Triund Dharamkot Trek Starts, so Brownie. Surrounding - Pretty safe and comparatively quieter than Mcleodganj and Dharamshala. Tho its friendly, not isolated. Rooms - I took a Quard, Stayed with my Parents, was a lovely spacious, well lit and ventilated room. Washroom, Attached bath and Washroom, spacious, hot water all set. Balcony - Was the highlight, lovely views, spacious, you can see clouds nestling up in the mountains or just watch stars. (You might also get to witness extreme thunderstorm, which is scary af haha) People - Quite Friendly , Suraj was welcoming. Pretty chill experience.

Salvation cafe - Its Zostel's Cafe, The food services could be made better, also the food was pretty avg. They can improve their services, apart from that good views. I'd rather suggest going to Raja cafe, small lowkey cafe but amazing homelyy food. It you want simple and fulfilling.

Zostel Dharamkot is tucked away in Upper Dharamkot, surrounded by peace and calm — perfect if you’re looking to disconnect. There’s no market nearby, so you’ll need to walk about 15 minutes to reach one, but honestly, it’s worth it for the quiet ambience. The vibe is great, the staff is friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Don’t miss trying the spinach mushroom omelette at their café — it’s a must-have!
